State of U.S. Network-Branded Credit Cards


High-level industry data continue to show two faces of the U.S. credit card industry: growing spending but lower lending. Meanwhile, the underlying account base has yet to arise from its postrecession lows. Consumers (as opposed to commercial cardholders) appear to be driving the industry numbers. But where are they taking the industry?
