Online transactions are the glue of online life. For e-commerce merchants, financial institutions, payment services providers and consumers, certainty over who you are doing business with is difficult to establish online. This webinar, based on interviews with global Internet brands, leading e-commerce merchants, a wide range of cyber-security vendors including technology providers and service aggregators, as well as identity ecosystem leadership from government and industry, comes from recent work conducted with the Merchant Risk Council. The presentation discusses leading fraud management approaches in e-commerce and the concept and prospects for the Identity Ecosystem, an outsourced identity service to build trust across cyberspace.
George Peabody, Director of Emerging Technologies Advisory Service, examines the Identity Ecosystem and the success factors it must accomplish to come into being. George is joined by Terence Spies, CTO of Voltage Security, and Stephen Wilson, founder of Lockstep Technologies, a smartcard and security consultancy, for an open discussion on the Identity Ecosystem and its potential impact on e-commerce transaction security.
