American Express is fine tuning its prepaid portfolio to streamline it. Despite closing down its enterprise growth group, American Express remains committed to its prepaid business. However, it does recognize a need to streamline the operations of the portfolio. Those efforts might hold lessons for other prepaid providers, especially in a year that will bring changes to the industry.
