Welcome to Mercator Advisory Group Website 2.0 and Debit Advisory Service
We are pleased to welcome you to the newly redesigned Mercator Advisory Group website and the Debit Advisory Service page. You will find that the site has been designed to provide our members with a higher level of communication and information and enhanced functionality. The Debit Advisory Service page will host research available to members of the service, analyst blogs, and a stream of the latest social media postings from the Debit research team as well as content from Mercator Advisory Group's free online news and information resource, PaymentsJournal.com.
The Debit Advisory Service has a new director, Ronald Mazursky, who succeeds Patricia (Patti) Hewitt, who has been appointed Vice President and Managing Director, Consulting Services, at Mercator Advisory Group. Ron Mazursky brings to the Debit Advisory Service over 30 years of hands-on payment industry experience at a major card issuer, a payment network, and a cross-industry consulting organization. His work has focused on product management, product development, partnerships, business development, programs and promotions, service management, and marketing mainly in the U.S. but also in Central and South America, Europe, and Asia. Before joining Mercator Advisory Group he held senior positions at JPMorgan Chase and MasterCard Inc. and more recently strategy consulting roles as a director at Edgar, Dunn and Company, Novantas, and Market Innovations. His clients represented most aspects of the payments industry.
The Debit Advisory Service research continues to evolve, with new topics being planned for the near term as well as some annual repeat topics of interest. Research planned for fourth quarter 2013 will cover debit perspectives on health care payments, everyday debit spend and what's at risk, the evolving landscape of debit rewards and loyalty programs, and our 2014 Debit Outlook.
Looking forward to 2014, we are eager to begin discussions with members and others interested in the Debit Advisory Service. We want to hear your thoughts and reactions to our commentaries, and we will be listening closely to your needs. We can communicate with you via our new website as well as speak directly with you on the phone or in person. Let Ron know your thoughts about our site, including any suggestions for improvements.
We appreciate your business and look forward to working with you. If you have questions or would like to discuss a specific topic regarding debit (or pay now), please don't hesitate to contact Ron Mazursky directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or call him at 781.419.1704781.419.1704.
