Business Development/Account Executive

As part of a business development team, the Business Development Manager is responsible for closing new business for Mercator’s consulting services and research & advisory membership services. The Business Development Executive is responsible for cross selling additional research and consulting services to existing clients, managing contracts, and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • At least five years of direct sales experience, preferably for a professional service provider in financial services, for an advisory services firm, or for a solution provider selling to financial institutions
  • Self-starter with a high level of energy and motivation
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize
  • Team and service focused with a demonstrated ability to meet the expectations of a team, our clients and internal reporting requirements
  • Winning and positive attitude
