Mercator Advisory Group adds senior executive industry talent to lead coverage in the debit arena

- Mercator Advisory Group is pleased to announce the addition of Sarah Grotta, a 20-year payments and banking industry veteran, to its team of analysts as head of the companyâ€™s Debit Advisory Service.
Sarah will be covering debit issuing in addition to bill pay, person-to-person solutions, ACH, and other â€œpay nowâ€ products. Her professional credentials include over 20 years of broad payments and banking experience with a track record of new product innovation including market-leading solutions, development of realistic new product business plans, product road maps, new product requirements, and successful marketplace launches.
Her experience includes senior leadership positions in a mix of large financial institutions and fast-paced startups including KeyBank, SunTrust, Springbok Services, and DimpleDough in addition to managing her own consulting firm. Sarahâ€™s responsibilities have included managing debit card and prepaid card lines of business, merchant services and ISO sponsorship portfolios, growing an ACH consolidation business as well as deploying a surcharge-free ATM solution.
