Mercator Advisory Group Announces Jeffrey Green as Director of Emerging Technologies Service
Newest addition will be dedicated to research and analysis of complex and rapidly evolving emerging payments technologies arena

Advisory Group today announced the addition of Jeffrey Green to lead
the company’s Emerging Technologies Service, which focuses on newly
emerging consumer payment technologies poised to significantly impact
the future of the industry.
In
his new role, Green will focus on dynamics and trends directly
impacting the Emerging Technologies space, including customer-facing
technologies and core platforms; online payments, P2P, electronic bill
presentment and payment, and contactless; retailer technologies and
markets; security, authentication, and fraud management; and mobile
banking and payments.
Green
joins Mercator Advisory Group with 16 years of payments industry
expertise as well as extensive mobile and alternative payments
knowledge. Green most recently served as Editorial Director of the
Payments Group for SourceMedia. As Editorial Director, he managed the
entire payments group and coordinated payments coverage with multiple
publications and departments within the company, including American
Banker.
Green
possesses a strong research and analysis background spanning multiple
industries, including credit, debit, mobile, merchant acquisition,
networks and associations, and self-service. During his tenure at
SourceMedia, Green managed the survey work, data mining and analysis for
the Annual Bankcard Study and Annual Report, the EFT Data Book, and
other various directories and data books.
