Roles and Responsibilities
Peter Slavin is Director in the Business Development Group at Mercator Advisory Group. Peter has extensive advisory consulting experience and has partnered with numerous domestic and multinational investment companies, banks, and government agencies to sell and execute large-scale strategy, operations, and technology transformation programs.
Most recently Mr.
Slavin served as the Managing Director of the Relationship Management group at
State Street Bank, where he represented many of the top tier
accounts. He actively partnered with client C-suite executives to
expand strategic client relationships and was responsible for managing the
relationships for some of the banks largest and most challenging clients.
Prior to his most
recent experience, Mr. Slavin was a leader in Deloitte Advisory’s Investment
Management practice and served a wide array of top tier clients from across the
financial services industry. Specializing in investment management’s operations
and controls, he served at the industry forefront in advising clients and
developing practical solutions for evolving regulatory requirements and
business risk and operational challenges. Mr. Slavin built client relations and
mobilized diverse teams of professionals to deliver the power of the firm
through a proper mix of specialized talents aligned to specific client needs
and/or broader industry issues.
EducationMr. Slavin graduated with honors from Providence College with a degree in economics. He was also inducted into the Rhode Island chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international honor society in recognition of scholastic achievement in the field of economics.
