Pete is the Director of Primary Research Services. He oversees the Primary Research products which include: Customer Monitor Survey Series (CMSS); Small Business Survey Series, and our Customer-Merchant Experience research data sets and analytic reports.BackgroundPrevious ExperiencePete was previously Vice President, Global Insights & Analytics at Mastercard. In this capacity he worked on many strategic international initiatives integral to the growth of the business. Using various qualitative and quantitative techniques, he explored areas such as: the importance of the brand in card selection, the development of mobile payments, shopper dynamics, as well as in-depth understanding of small, medium and large merchants and how they use payments. Further, he worked with the Global insights team to publish thought leadership on several issues relevant to the payment space. Pete also implemented tools integrating secondary data and data analytics into primary research to enhance the breadth and depth of the subject matter in question.Prior to joining Mastercard, Pete honed his research skills at both the Willard & Shullman Group and Research International. Typical clients included financial services, manufacturing, publishing and CPG companies. He helped his clients by designing and implementing research projects that drove critical business decision making and business guidance. Further, he also was a regular speaker and workshop instructor at numerous industry conferences.EducationPete holds a BS in Marketing from Lehigh University and a certificate in Essentials of Management from the Wharton School.
